I have listened to all 13 books in The Dresden Files ....LOVED IT! I love that it is combination of scifi/fantasy/mystery/quirky/comedy/romance/and everything in between!

Although the mental image I have of Dresden definitely does not match the guy on the front of the book
or the guy who played him on a short lived TV show
But regardless of my mental images, the books are very easy to listen too, addictive even, if you can make it through the beginning of the first book. I almost gave up, as it didn't seem to appeal to me, but golly am I ever glad I persevered! I am sad that I have listened to the last one of the series and look forward to listening to the few "Side Jobs" or short stories that Jim Butcher has written.
The other thing that makes these books so great to listen to is the skill of James Marsters who did the reading. He was phenomenal! The reader changed for the 13th book and it just didn't do it for me.
